Leadership Team

Jay Rogers

John B. Rogers, Jr. is the CEO and co-founder of Local Motors parent company, LM Industries. Under Rogers’ direction and vision, it is on a quest to redefine the rapid development of connected hardware by pairing advanced manufacturing with open innovation tools for the future of mobility. Transportation has always been a passion for Rogers and he has consistently pushed the boundaries of the industry with the world’s first co-created vehicle, the world’s first 3-D printed car, and the world’s first autonomous cognitive shuttle, Olli. That being said, Rogers has also been outspoken about how the automotive industry needs to adapt and change. Olli is the latest manifestation of Rogers’ commitment to creating the solutions a more sustainable tomorrow requires. A graduate of Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, Rogers holds a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School (Baker Scholar).
